What is WEll-Being and Life Balance?

Personalized Relaxation

This muscular and/or mental relaxation is highly practical for teaching purposes. The practitioner adapts it according to the needs during their coaching sessions for the benefit of their learners, which enables improved individual and group practice.
This ‘Swiss Army knife’ relaxation promotes effective stress and emotion management. It further enhances recovery and sleep quality.

Calming or Regulating Breaths

Breathing is one of the easiest levers to master for influencing internal balance. Calming, regulating breaths help to lower stress levels and bring the body back into a zone of physiological comfort.

By lengthening exhalation and synchronizing breath, sensations, and consciousness, they enable the reduction of nervous tension, calm the mind, and create a state conducive to relaxation and concentration.

Energizing breathing techniques, as their name suggests, have the opposite effect when the situation requires it.

Mental preparation

Mental preparation involves positively visualizing a future situation. It can be used to prepare for an important moment (meeting, competition, appointment, emotionally engaging objectives) by imagining oneself calm, capable, and confident.

This exercise develops constructive anticipation, strengthens self-confidence, and enables the brain and body to adopt a favorable mental posture. Mental projection is an important tool for emotional regulation and stress management, which also fuels motivation.

Relaxation imagery

Relaxation imagery is a mental imagery technique that involves mentally immersing oneself in a pleasant place or memory. The objective is to recreate a state of deep well-being by engaging the senses (sight, sounds, smells, sensations).

A few minutes are sufficient to experience calm, reduce stress and anxiety, and rebalance the nervous system. It is a particularly effective tool for taking a regenerative break in a busy daily life.

SAS Daily Well-being

The “Daily Happiness Gateway” is a simple, easy, and effective ritual that involves reliving, during a break or at the end of the day, the big and small moments of happiness from the day (paying attention to a positive moment experienced during the day, however small, a smile, a success, an encounter, a pleasant sensation). It nourishes and strengthens motivation while optimizing sleep quality.

This practice develops gratitude, promotes a positive mindset, and contributes to strengthening resilience in the face of difficulties. By directing attention towards the positive, it sustainably nourishes the feeling of well-being and life balance.
